amazing surgeon in Clearwater/Largo Florida

Hi, I live in Ontario and considering having my WLS in Largo (Clearwater) by an amazing young surgeon that I was told about. He did a fellowship with Dr. Rosenthal at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida, so he is a certified bariatric surgeon. His name is Dr. Richard Gordon and he is terrific!!!

He was my surgeon.  Him and his partner Dr Gonzalvo are great people and I have total trust in them!! Good luck on going through the tests and all and we will see you on the looser side someday soon!!! Anne

Hi June Ann - WOW you're doing great!!

Dr. Gordon took over my bariatric care when I moved here from Maine.  He did my hernia repair last summer.  He's always been available to answer any questions I have. Karen

Drs. G & G also did my RNY in November, 2006, and I could not have asked for better care, before, during and after.  I interviewed five (LOL and even FIRED one "popular" surgeon) before deciding to allow G & G to do my surgery.  Everyone involved was FANTASTIC!  I feel that in Pinellas County, they are, along with Dr. Small in Countryside, the BEST!!   Dr. Gonzalvo and his wife even took part in our Cruise to Lose last year!  He apparently does a mean "Salsa" too!!  I missed it as I was "pre-occupied" by my sex-ay singer in Wig & Gavel, but apparently Dr. and Mrs. Gonzalvo cut quite the rug in Bolero's, the ship's Salsa club!!   I do concur - Gordon and Gonzalvo are TERRIFIC!!
