Nutritionist In Orlando?

I am in need of a nutritionist in the Orlando area.  I'm not having a lot of luck finding anyone....does anybody have a suggestion?  I know most insurance doesn't accept a nutritionist, but I have BCBS if that matters....

Does your surgeon have someone with whom he/she generally works?  That is generally your best source.  But you can also call the local hospitals and see if they have someone.  I did a provider search at the ASMBS site and it gave the name of a nutritionist at Celebration.  But call HealthCentral.  Since they are doing some surgeries there now they should be able to hook you up. I believe they do have someone...I'll have to look into it.   I did find a name at Health Central, but I assumed that it was actually just for the hospital and not outside patients.  I'll check into that there. Am I reading this correctly?  You are sayiing that Health Central is now doing some bariatric surgeries?

I believe Dr. Harold is doing surgeries at HealthCentral.  I know that he has a support group that meets at HealthCentral.  I have never been since I had the DS and he does not do the DS. http://louharoldmd.com/index.html

Hey - Alice Baker in Winter Park is very good... and has several bariatric patients. I don't have her number with me right now, but will look for it and get back to you. She is $40 per session... Initially I went every 2 weeks, now it's about every 6 weeks.

So what happens with the nutritionist exactly?  I would love the education....Thanks!
