Surgery with medicaid in FL

Has anyone actually got there surgery paid for by medicaid in Florida? If so could you tell me what Dr. and any steps you had to take? Thanks

I know I have read on here about people getting surgery paid for through medicaid.  I think a lot of it depends on who your medicaid carrier is.  Have you looked at the sticky message at the top of the board?   There is some information there about medicaid.

Yes the surgery is covered for Medicare.  Medicare is a federal program and medicaid is a state program so coverage and requirements will vary from state to state.
