i made a choice!!

So tonight after my first support group meeting...i made my decision! I'm going to have gastic bypass! Im so glad that i finally made this decision. I have been wrestling with this for months. I feel that i will be the most successful with this surgery compared to lab-band.  I know i need the negative reinforcement when i do something "bad" to keep me on track. This is the first time I feel that I made the right choice for me!

awesome! i also thought the lap-band wouls be best for me but then decided on bypass. i am doing great after 10 weeks and 40 pounds later,diabetes almost gone. i wish you the best of luck!!!

So glad that the support meeting helped you with your decision...I also was at a support meeting last night and I am glad that I had already chosen to have the gastric over the lap band.  The support meeting that I was at, was really great.  I am looking forward to the next one.  Good luck!!!  Lynne
