Looking for dr recommendations in Clearwater area

Congretulations on researching before jumping in! I recommend, like Michael, Dr. Rehnke with the Palms of Pasedena hospital. He's excellent and his staff is very good at paper pushing for insurance. I had my lapband surgery just 3 weeks ago and am thrilled with the efficiancy and kindness everyone in that office exhibits. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Although Dr. Murr didn't do my original surgery (I had my DS in Brazil with Dr. Marchesini), he is doing my follow up care here.  I really, really like him now, but he did have to "grow" on me.  His first impression is very businesslike (not necessarily a bad thing) and kind of detached.  He might come across as a little cold at first, but after seeing him numerous times now (I've had a complication that he's helping with), he's much more friendly and personable.  I have a lot of respect for him, and do think that he is the best in the area.  Good luck!
