Hello All, Has anyone else had problems with hair accepting dye after surgery? My hair thinned out in months 3-6 but now it is VERY dry and won't accept the DARKEST  of hair color. I had it colored twice and it changed very little. When I wa**** I have to leave a lot of conditioner it in or it is like dry, frizzy, parched, steel wool. Sometimes that doesn't even help. Is this going to get better? Thanks, Becky

I take biotin 2500 daily from GNC and have never had a problem with my hair. Make sure you are also getting in your protein. That is very important.

I can't answer for anyone but I've never had a problem dying it after surgery..could just be your hair type..my hair was thin before and it has remained - I didn't lose nor gain a whole lot either way but I could always dye it just fine. Best of luck!

wow ruth your new pic is nice!  You grew your hair longer and changed the color?  What a difference! I did not have problem with hair dye either, but dryness yes.  I still condition real well.  Remember our bodies have gone through lots of shock. Be care ful not to over dye or stress your hair.  You may need to go to a good hairdresser so you won't break your hair with over dying it.  Anyway, it will get better. Merry  Christmas blessings, Tami

How you doing, girl?? LOL...it's me but with a wig on..actually..my hair doesn't grow that long ever and I saw this one in Jacksonville..and it makes me look younger so thanks for the compliment!! The weird thing for me..since my hair is thin in nature if I condition it it is greasy/slippery and not good at all though the ends are kinda dry as well. I just deal with it but am able to hair color just fine. Trying Biotin and it helps a little. If anything - try a wig and can help *ya) look GOOD!! HUGS
