WLS Friendly PCP's in SE Florida

Hey my WLS brothers & sisters, once again I am on a hunt for a WLS friendly/educated PCP, anywhere between West Palm and Ft. Lauderdale.  My current PCP has become a little timid when dealing with any of my issues.  One little blip on a lab and I'm sent to some specialist, only to find out there's nothing wrong.  I know he's just playing it safe, and I like him alot.  Just think if may be wise to find someone more knowlegeable and deals more with bariatric issues.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks. maybe you could try calling another bariatric surgeon in the area and ask them who they would recomend. maybe if you tell them why, i am sure they might be able to recomend someone. I am surprised that they havent helped you out at the cleveland clinic. I am sure most of the pcp there see alot of the bariatric patients. My pcp is my pulmonologist so that probably wont help you but i know some docs in the area. my mom is a nurse in coconut creek. i will ask her for you.

Thanks, I'll try CCF again on Monday, there is no urgency, just something I want to do.  Emily is only one person there, there are others I can contact.  My reason for posting here was to hopefully find someone who had a doc I could be interested in and get there opinion of them beforehand.  I'd appreciate any referals you or your mom could provide.  Thanks again.
