I'm Home!
Hi Tami,
Armando Soto with the Institute of Aesthetic Surgery in Celebration - quite literally across the atrium from Dr. Kim's office. Their web site is http://www.iasurgery.net
Yes, it was outpatient for both a lift and augmentation and it cost $7500. Dr. Soto is absolutely wonderful. He graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with a MD and a FACS and has been in the profession for 12 years. He is known in professional circles as "The Breast Man."
Take care,

Hi Kristin, I am so glad that your surgery went well. Your presentation at the information session was great. I really appreciated your sense of humor. I have been reading the posts and want to thank everyone for sharing your thoughts and experiences it really helps a newbie like me. I am having my psychological eval next Wed. and hopefully will be able to schedule surgery for the gastric sleeve soon. Susan
Hi Susan,
It was great meeting you last week. I usually don't do the info session unless Dr. Kim has an emergency. I was relieved when he came in after surgery, because I wanted everyone to meet him. Yes, my sense of humor is a little twisted and does tend to come ut when I am nervous.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/smile.gif)
I hope that you enjoy your psych eval - it is illuminating and Dr. Ferguson is wonderful (and also a post-op!)

Great question. I was an Olympic-level swimmer, so when my coach said (at 15) to have a reduction, I did it. Dr. Soto didn't like the keloid scarring, so her also removed the old scars and even threw in some lipo so my new breasts actually curve under my arm.
Right now, I am huge. (I am resting my tea mug on them right now!) I went from a small B to a full D. Looks like a DD with the swelling, bulging at the top. They will "fall" or settle down in the pocket after a few weeks.
Most pain is underneath, where the incisions are and lipo took place. Also feels as though I just gave birth and my milk is coming in. I'm told there is less chance of encapsulation when they are under the muscle and textured.
