YUM discovery! Orange Julius made with Matrix Protein!
I just have to share this yummy discovery I made tonite! My friend (and WLS Angel) gave me a sample of Matrix Organge Cream protein powder and I used Tropicana Sugar Free Orange Ade and whipped it up in my magic bullet and poured it over lots of ice. OH BOY... tastes JUST like an Orange Julius and has 23 grams of protein and only 3 carbs! The Tropicana Orange Ade is non carbonated, has ZERO calories and carbs and NO caffeine! The Tropicana Orange Ade is right in the soda aisle in all the grocery stores and comes in either cans or 2 liter bottles. I get my Matrix Protein powder at either http://www.bariatriceating.com or http://www.netrition.com
If anyone tries this you have to let me know how you like it!

I have a protein shake every morning for breakfast. After a while, they get rather boring. So, I've learned to experiment so I'll let you in on my secret:
Put your protein powder in your blender with your water and a few ice cubes. Now, decide what flavor you want for the day. You can go to places like World Market and buy Davinci (sp) sugar free flavorings and put a dash of that in the blender and mix away. Or, you can go over to the counter and get that box of Crystal Light (or whatever brand) of individual serving packets and put one of those in there. Then, of course, you can always go to the freezer and get a sugar free popsicle and put that in blender instead of the ice and blend away.
So, what flavor would you like today? My favorite is vanilla protein powder purchased from Publix, 12 oz of water with a sleeve of Orange Sunrise and 3 ice cubes. Second favorite, protein powder, water and a banana popsicle. Number 3, made with a grape popsicle or a grape drink mix. The flavors can be endless.
Want a REAL treat? Protein powder, water, a little sugar free ice cream and a squirt of sugar free pancake syrup. Yum Yum.
