Miami-dade county United health PPO (florida)

Hello everyone  I'm justing starting out and plan on seeing the nutritionist for the first time next week. I have some insurance qestions.  I live in Miami-dade County and my insurance covers the surgery. They have these stipulation that I have to follow. My medical records are fine. I need to have my diet on record for 12months.  My question is, has anybody been through this process and has the same insurance. Just looking for some help.

Hey Pearl, just wanted to say hi and wish you luck.  Just up the road a few miles in Boynton Beach, near Palm Beach.  Can't help you out with any insurance advice.  I had to pay for mine myself.  The good thing about that is that when you pay for it, the surgeon has no issue with getting you done pretty quickly.  Ah, the power of the almighty dollar.  I can recommend Cleveland Clinic in Weston if you havent chosen a hospital yet.  They are the best.   Anyway, good luck again and keep us up on your progress.  Also, feel free to contact me if you need any other help. Hi Pearl...I live just a little north of Naranja in So Dade.  I had United Health Care Choice and they covered my surgery in 12/2003 very well.  I did not have a preop diet to complete....maybe because I had recorded history of 12+ months of diet.   Off Topic....it's crazy what is going on in our area of Miami Dade County.  It's awful.  I haven't tried going South toward Southland Mall....I understand they have lots of roads blocked.  You are keeping your doors locked, right?
