Terri, I've been out of town so I just saw your post.  You know you're all in my prayers for comfort and peace as you deal with your loss. You didn't tell me about all the LBL problems!  I also "spit out" stitches, even the ones that are supposed to dissolve. I  have ever since my first c-secton in 1979!!  After my LBL I had the same small spot, about 1/2" long, open on the lower front left side 3 different times & each time out popped a black knotted stitch.  As soon as I removed the stitch, the little hole closed back up within a couple of days.  I saved them to show my ps.  He said it was just something some folks so and as long as there was no infection and the opening closed back up I didn't need to worry about it.  I told him I wasn't surprised or concerned.  I'd warned him when he did my first ps that my body doesn't dissolve stitches very well. I hope your LBL revison surgery went well.  What was the doc going to do?  When you're feeling up to it, drop me a line (send it to me directly if you'd like).  I'll be praying for your recovery and would love to hear how you're doing! Vickie J.
