The official museum of the state of Florida since its opening in 1977, the Museum of Florida History collects, preserves, exhibits and interprets evidence of past and present cultures in Florida. Permanent exhibits range from the prehistoric to the 20th century and include a nine-foot mastodon skeleton, the St. Johns Diorama (depiction of an early Timucan Indian village), a recreated 19th century steamboat and a tribute to Florida citizens in World War II. Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pm, Sat 10 am-4:30 pm, Sun noon-4:30 pm. FREE. Guided tours Mon-Sat 10:30 am & 2:30 pm; Sun 2:30 pm. |

Hello AbbieMarie - this is a Hijack! I see you're also Dr. Sieloff's patient. I see you're a newbie & hope all is going well for you! Isn't Dr. Sieloff wonderful??!! I hope to see you at the Bariatric Center support group meeting tonight! We also have a local support group [email protected] (there is an _ underscore between wls and tallahasse in the address). Our group is open to anyone regardless of surgeon or surgery type. Although most are RNY patients we also have some DS-ers and LapBand-ers, too. We meet twice a month. Our next meeting is next week at the Olive Garden. I'll be glad to give you more info if you want to e-mail me personally. Hang on b/c you're in for a wild ride but it is sooooo worth it!! Vickie J.
