Both Unjury and Bariatric Eating offers free protein and as for vitamins, remember that Centrum Silver does not have enough B1 in it, if you are a Dr. Jawad patient, and some B complex vitamins also do not. I believe in quality when it comes to vitamins as I didn't have this surgery only to mess up long-term.
I bought a sample pack of different flavored protein powders so I could try out the ones I liked without buying them in bulk and throwing them away. I ordered the sample pack from www.vitalady.com for about $25. I mixed no sugar carnation instant breakfast pack with champions chocolate whey protein (tastes just like a melted Wendy's frosty with no aftertaste) and I get low cal, low fat with about 28-30 grams of protein.
I also use Sunrise orange Christal light with one scoop of unflavored plain AnyWhey protein powder. Can't taste it and the orange flavor is great especially if you blend it with crushed ice.
I also like the Nectar brand from Isopure in the Green apple flavor. It's a nice change from creamy proteins and I've found that you either really like it or really don't. Having the sample pack is nice to try a bunch of different flavors. I also sprinkle the plain unflavored AnyWhey protein to other foods but not a whole scoop at a time because it tends to change the consistency of some things.
I have not found a source for liquid protein but sure would appreciate info from someone who has. I use the Target brand chewable calcium in the chocolate flavor and will be ordering the B12 injectables.
Good Luck.
