NEW OH SUPPORT GROUP in HUDSON FLORIDA!

Mary J. and I (Marianne Castiglia) are VERY excited to have started a new Obesity Help support group for West Pasco and Hernando counties!  Mary J. took the OH certification course the day I was released from the hospital for my RNY surgery and I will be taking it in September. Mary ****y WLS angel, we have been friends for 14 years and she is 30 months out of lap RNY surgery. I am a brand new post op so we have a variety of experience to bring to the group. We both have attended several different support groups in various hospitals between NY and Florida.  Mary J. and I decided to start the group because the nearest support group to here is in Clearwater and just too far for many of us Pasco and Hernando county folks.  We will be meeting at the Hudson Library on Fivay Road which is just off of Hudson Ave in Hudson. The first meeting will be Wednesday, September 19th and the second will be Wednesday October 17th. The time is 7PM to 8:30PM.  Anyone who is interested in learning about weight loss surgery, gaining knowlege about keeping the weight off after surgery, learning about nutrition and weight loss without surgery is welcome to attend. Mary and I have lots of hand out information that we can share that we have obtained from our groups we have attended in the past. In addition, since Obesity Help is our sponsor, they offer lots of information that we can share with the group. Yea!  I just had my surgery on 8/15 in Ocala with Dr Overcash.  But I could use a group closer to my home in Spring Hill. God Bless You Kathleen

Kathleen, We are very excited to be starting this group and look forward to you joining us. You are very close to us and that is why we are starting this group. We all NEED support and even being out and at goal it is such a boost to talk and share with others. There just wasn't anything close and convenient to us here is Pasco/Hernando County. Kathleen you and I have our RE-Birthdays only ONE day apart! I had my surgery on the 14th. I'm thrilled you are going to join us in our new support group in Hudson! Oh boy, count me in. Kathleen and I both live in Spring Hill and this will sure beat driving to Ocala every month for my doctors support meeting.  Can you give me an address and I will map quest it.  I am not too sure of my way around Hudson other than the beach.  Cannot wait to meet you all.  Sandy Wesley
