Help ya'll!!  What are the signs of port flipage?  I can't find any info on this subject and I'm afraid mine may have flipped?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Just curious...whay do you think that it has flipped? Is it not accessible for an adjustment?

The flipped ports mentioned on the lap-band forum usually are found when someone goes for a fill and they are unable to inject the needle into the port or under flouro it can be seen tilted/flipped.  Sounds like easy fixes (outpatient day procedure) to correct the port placement.  I hope you don't have one but if you do, good luck!

That's correct, although it's an easy fix it still can be expensive if you aren't expecting it (and who is, really?)

Surgeons might be able to manipulate the port during a flouro fill so it flips up for a fill, but it isn't the rule.
