signs of slippage

Hello-  Just curious if anyone has heard of side effects of slippage being pain the a particular spot of the back that is burning ?  NO throwing up or slimming though.  Thanks for the help

My sister had a slipped band but her pain presented right on the left side of her body under her rib cage.  She had done a lot of throwing up and busted the stitches that help the band in place and thus the band slipped.   My guess is, if the band is slipped, the pain would be in the location of the band as the stomach will "slip" back up thru the band and the pouch will hang over the band and cause the pain. Whatever pain you have, I'd call the surgeon.  You do NOT want to break those stitches or take any chances of that band slipping.  Everybody is different and your pain could be totally different than anybody here might mention to you.  So, please, call the surgeon and get some pieace of mind.
