Surgery is Over!

I had my lap-band surgery yesterday morning! Got home from Ocala about 3:30. The incisions were pretty painful yesterday, but I can already tell it is better today. Just dealing with this gas stuff. If it weren't for that I probably wouldn't have much pain at all. I have to stay on clear liquids for 2 full days and then I can move up to full liquids. I'll keep you posted. Ali

I am VERY sore and was awake all last night with terrible gas pains. It was so bad that I actually called the doctor. He said that sometimes the anesthesia can paralyze the intestines so he had me use a dulcolax suppository. That wan't very pleasant, but I was able to get rid of some of the gas. I am so tired today since I did not sleep last night. Going to try and find a comfortable position to lay in.
