Moving to Floral City Florida

Hello Friends, I am ashamed to say that its been months since I have been here.  Lots of changes that I can see. Good ones at that.  To the point.   I am moving to Floral City Florida at the end of September. Unfortunately, my fiance and I have called it quits and I am moving to FL to start my life over.  I am hoping to find a support group and possible surgeon in the area to get back on track with. Some new friends in the area would be great. I am at a very bad time in my life right now and I do not want to slip into an abyss that I cannot get out of. Especially to thwart off any harm to my health. Any help Anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. I apologize as I am not in the best state of mind as I write this. Do you mean Florida City near Homestead?  I'm in the So. end of Dade County.  Unfortunately, you probably won't find a bariatric surgeon in that area but you can in Miami at either South Miami Hospital area or Mercy Hospital area. Sorry to hear about your break up. luvitsunnyv

Welcome to that very little town between Inverness & Brooksville/Springhill. You'll be here the end of September? Maybe you'll join us for our "Walk From Obesity" at the "Westfield Citrus Park Mall" indoors concluding with our Health Fair.  Surgeonwise closest to Floral City ?  there is Dr.Overcash & Jawad in Ocala, Dr.Dietrick near USF in New Tampa, Hillsborough County. And Dr.Kim at Celebration near Disney World. dear kim, so sorry what you are going thru, if I can be of any encourgement please let me know. I will be praying for you that God will open doors for you in your move, and provide the very friends you need. Where is Floral City? We are in the Clearwater area, only lived down here almost 2 yrs so don't know all the area's well. Have you had the surgery, or where are you with all of that, God Bless Suzie
