Stomafyx Surgeon ?
Someone posted that a FL surgeon is now doing the Stomafyx procedure... Who is that surgeon & where are they located. I'm trying to track down some info for a friend.

Dr.Overcash is one of the main speakers at the Georgia OH Conference in three weeks.
Will we see you/or/& your friend there? It's such a new procedure that it is not yet covered by insurances.

Thanks for the info. I thought it was Dr. Jawad or Dr. Overcash but couldn't remember for sure. Of course, I blame all memory loss on surgical anesthesia - including the 18 years between surgeries after my last C-section!!!

Hi Vickie - I did the original post about Dr. Overcash/Ocala being one of four doctors (at this time) who are doing the Stomaphyx procedure. Michael already included his information. The approximate cost is $9,500 - $9,700.00 and it's a "day" procedure like a gallbladder operation. You go home the same day and in cases the person can go to work the next day (as said by Overcash).
