3 years out tomorrow!

I was just thinking the other day that in a month (9/29) I'll be 3 years postop, and it's been good and bad. But I wouldn't couldn't have changed things for the world. Dating has been hell...I've seen the ugly side of it and nothing good yet. But what can u do? Still struggling with the weight and I know I can do it with hard work. You're my inspiration!

I know there is always good and bad...we take the good and leave the bad behind, what I do! Dating is a pain...but there is going to be that one guy that is it.  I am at the point just go out and have fun with my friends and live it up.  I did last night at Red Coconuts, dancing on a table making my friends laugh at me.  You need to let loose once in a while and be a little crazy. Ruth thanks so much, warms my heart to know I am an inspiration.  It is hard, we all know it, just keep on trucking!

Congratulations Tracey! I know it has been a long hard road for you these past 3 years but you've stayed the course and have come out on top!!  You've proven to yourself and the world what a fine, strong & wonderful woman you are.  It is just too bad Troy wasn't smart enough to see it!!  I'm so proud of you & all you've accomplished!!  Keep up the good work! Thank you Vickie, actually about to cry with your words.  You and others have been thru it all with me. He has been asking to talk again but no action.  I told him the other day, everytime I am about to move on you call me...do you have radar or something to pull me back in.  I am not falling for it anymore..all talk no action. How have you been doing?  Feeling better from the surgeries?  We all need to get together again sooon!

Tracey,  I'm doing well.  I had breast (lift & augmentation) and LBL scar revision Mon. 7/23 and did fine.  I had hoped to be allowed to come back to Tally on Fri. 7/27 but I was still draining a bit more than the surgeon liked so he wanted to keep the drains in until Mon. 7/30.  It was cheaper and easier to stay at the hotel down there than to drive home & have to fly back on Monday.  When I saw him on Monday he was pleased with the drainage and so he removed all 3 drains.  I fly back down this Wed. for a check up.  So far everything seems to be going well.  I've still got a bit of abdominal swelling but otherwise I'm doing great (and I love the new boobies!!).  I'm saying a prayer & keeping my fingers crossed that the Capsular Contracture doesn't come back!! I'm sure you're thinking twice, three or four times before you decide to do anything about Troy.  Sometimes it seems they don't want you, but they don't want you to be with anyone else, either!  You do what is best for you.  I'm sure whatever you decide is best for you will also turn out to be best for the kids in the long run, too. I'd love to get together with everyone!  If anyone ever gets the "gang" together I hope you'll give me a buzz!! Take care & enjoy your success!! Vickie J.
