Congrats!!!! I too had Dr Gordon and it's great to see others that used him and his partner posting on the boards!! It is a lot of work, it's not been easy, but definitely well worth it! I am close to that 100 lb loss and will definitely do some "whooo hooo'ing" when I get there too!! Anne

Hi Anne! Thanks for the encouragement, and CONGRATS on your surgery and success!! I consulted with several area surgeons before deciding on Gordon & Gonzalvo. (Dr. Gonzalvo is one of our Cruise to Lose presenters, along with Dr. Ted Small from Countryside!) They are so good in every aspect. Their staff is top notch, and they have fantastic follow up care. Kelly, Chris (also a Cruise to Lose panelist!) and Jan rock the house! LOL Julie will be conducting our regular support group meeting coming up in the next week or so. Hope to see you there! ~ Terri

Thanks, Marianne!! I still can't believe it! I had mentioned in an earlier post that for whatever reason, this is the "IT" moment of my entire journey up til now, for whatever reason! Julie is still conducting WLS Support Group Meetings, just on a volunteer basis now. THAT is how dedicated she is to this cause. This is something that remains very close to her heart, and she will continue in her stellar capacity to work with us. As far as I know, the next meeting will be as scheduled next Saturday - just not sure of the location yet. I will be talking to Julie in the next day or so, and when I find out, I will pass the word along! I'm sure she'll also be updating the group as well, but I will definitely share whatever info I get. Maybe we can car pool it again?! Anyway, I'll let you know what I find! ~ Terri
