RANDY MORGAN HAS PASSED AWAY

RANDY HAS PASSED AWAY. I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH HIS WIFE NINA HE PASSED AWAY THIS AM. A BLOOD CLOT WENT TO HIS BRAIN. SHE WILL BE NEEDING ALL OF OUR HELP! SHE DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO CREMATE HIM. SHE WILL BE SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT AT THERE BANK FOR DONATIONS IF ALL OF USE COULD GIVE ONE OR TWO DOLLARS THAT WOULD GET HIM CREMATED. SO LETS HELP HIM OUT I WILL POST TOMORROW WITH THE ACCOUNT INFO AND NINA'S ADDRESS. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU CAN DO. SHERRY HERNANDEZ

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news.  I'm new to the board, and while I don't know Randy (was his screen name "Randy Morgan?"), my heart goes out to his wife and family. Please keep us posted on how people can help with donations.

PLEASE HELP ME SO I UNDERSTAND.   THIS IS A HUSBAND AND WIFE.  RANDY AND NINA. NOW NINA HAD GASTRIC/BYPASS.    AND HER HUSBAND HAS "LAPBAND" SURGERY AFTER HER.    SHE HAD COMLACATIONS IN THE HOSPITAL............AND HAD HER GALL BLADDER REMOVED.     NOW HE HAS HIS LAPBAND,  BUT WIND UP HAVING SOMETHING WRONG AND WENT BACK INTO THE HOSPITAL.   HOW LONG AGO WAS HE BANDED?   WAS IT DUE TO THE BAND OR SOMETHING ELSE? I DID SEE SOMEONE POSTED THEIR ADDRESS, FOR CARD SENDING A A FEW DOLLARS.                                                            MRS. yes they were husband and wife. nina has not had surgery yet she has been working on that. her husband randy had sugery 7/10 everything went fine for 2 days. then he had a blood clot that was dormit release and went directly to his brain and he died. yes that is the correct address for nina. Randy wanted to be cremated so that is what she is trying to get done then she will take his ashes back to il where he was from and he will be buried next to his dad. nina told me his mother is still alive and when she dies she will be buried in the same plot. thanks sherry hernandez.

NO you have it Totally Wrong. Nina has not received either of the WL Surgeries. But hoping to after Randy had his and was up on his feet to care for her as she would've for him. Randy did not receive the Lap Banding, He received the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass. And the Surgery was very Successful. Randy was doing ok Two Days Post-Op. But was having trouble with his Blood Pressure not Rising to a Normal Level as Pre-Op Randy had a High Blood Pressure due to Severe Obesity.  Randy had problems with Blood Clots prior to his Surgery Date. And while Re-couping while still in the Palms of Pasadena Hospital, Post-op on of these Dormat Blood Clots dislodged and travels to his Brain, thus cutting off his Blood Supplies and Killing Him. Randy never went home after his Surgery.  Randy Did Not Die Because Of His Weight Loss Surgery. Nor Was It A Fault Of His Surgeon, Dr.Rehnke Or The Palms Of Pasadena Hospital.  I hope this clears everything up to you and those who were confused. Mike

Sherry,  I am so sad to hear this!  Please give Nina my love and she will be in my thoughts and prayers.  It is so nice of you to keep us up to date as to how we can help her in her time of need!  THanks again!

Wow What saddening news. I have been caling his house all week with no one answering and it never dawned on me that he'd still might be in the hospital due to only receiving the Lap Band.  And I just thought of him this morning while in Church. Yes we'll take up a collection at our OH Support Group tomorrow evening and at the OH Meet & Greet next Saturday in Orlando. And make sure he's remembered at the OH Conference in Georgia.  Thank you Sherry for keeping us updated. Will you please let us know of the Funeral arrangements also. Mike
