Sandy Update
I apologize for not posting an update yesterday and keeping all the good information to myself, but Sandy did VERY well following her surgery. She was brave when I visited her and had a smile on her face. Even though I was not her regularly scheduled "angel", I did my normal dog and pony show and her only question to me was "why did I do this to myself"??
Actually, she'd been up and walking some and was waiting for her tray, following her leak test. I forgot to ask her if her gall bladder was removed during surgery, but she really did look very perky! Her daughter from Colorado was right there and a wonderful support.
Congratulations, Sandy, and welcome to the Loser's Bench!!
Yes, the gallbladder was to come out but when Dr J was in I forgot to ask him directly. He said he would take it out because it has a stone. I will double check on Wednesday when I go for the stitches.
Each day is better and yes really early on Tuesday morning I did ask the question but than as each day goes by I do not need to. It has been a very long time since I had any surgery (1991) so I feared alot. The g-tub was the biggest hurtle. Showing was the next, Do not ask my why but with all the staples and the tub well you know. I am past all that now, will clean hair. I took the advice of my friends on the board for were to put the tub during shower for it not to hang down. (Guys cover your eyes or turn around)
under the bob works wonderful idea.
Food seems to be going down wonderful. Going to change to broth because the sweets stuff is getting old. Talk to you all soon. Sandy
