Dr. Beltre (Orlando)

I don't know this doctor, but would advise folks not to necessarily go to the least expensive surgeon, even if you're talking about in or out of network.  You're talking about your health and your life.  Please investigate all the surgeons and ask the tough questions.  Dr. Kim, for example, is a Center of Excellence with a fantastic reputation.

I don't know about Dr. Beltre, but  I just had RNY with Dr. Kim at Celebration Health on June 4th and I can't say enought wonderful things about him and his staff. My surgery is covered (80%) and approved through BCBS of North Carolina (I know, my company's headquarters are there) but I paid the surgical fee up front. I don't expect to get my 80% back for at least 3 - 4 months, but what are credit cards for? Celebration Health is a Florida Hospital hospital and since my stay was well over my $3000 deductable, everything after that hospital wise was covered 100%. As of yesterday, I am down 24.5 lbs - so worth every penny.  Good luck to you finding a surgeon. I know it is a tough decision, and we all know money doesn't grow on trees, but if you can swing it, it is worth it.
