I HAVE BEEN APPROVED AFTER 2 YRS!!!!!

Hello there, usually with Dr. J as soon as all your tests are in and you get your approval, depending on his surgery schedule no more than a few weeks. Both times I was approved I could of had my surgeries withing a week, but needed a little longer, so I scheduled out for 2 weeks.  My whole process, from my consult to getting the tests done to approval from insurance (first surgery) was about a month total. Second surgery took about 3 days and I scheduled out for 2 weeks later.  You're in great hands with Dr. J Good luck and I hope that helps you some!! Jo Ann

Congratulations! I can't even imagine going through a struggle like that to get approved. Good thing there are those like Obesity Law out there to help. Have to admit, I used some of their articles when I sent in my packet to BCBS....just some preemptive stuff.  So glad you got approved and hopefully you'll get scheduled soon! I don't blame you for wanting to shout it from the rooftops!

My surgery has now been scheduled for Jul 31st!  I absolutely cannot wait.
