psych eval

Its me, again.  Was wondering if you like in the Central FLorida area, where did you have your psych eval done.  I am so scared of failing it. Should I not be scared?

I just saw a psychologist that my insurance covered.  All she did was talk to me and ask me some family history questions and why I wanted the surgery.  It was a piece of cake.  I know that Dr. Jawad's office will give you recommendations if you chose to go through him.

If you really and truly have issues that ought to keep you from surgery, then for your own sake, I hope they find it out!  The psych eval is to be sure you will be compliant and are a good risk for surgery that requires you to change the way you live.  Depression won't keep you from surgery and some other problems, but they may need to be addressed.  Remember all of this is for your own good as the surgery is major and elective! I have an appointment with Dr. Marcil in Orlando on Wednesday.  I called him Friday, and he called back today and set the appointment.  He is the Orlando Psych that Dr. Jawad's office referred; but I could use anyone.  Fortunately, it's summer, and people are on vacation, so Dr. Marcil had some openings.
