PLS HELP MIAMI/FT LAUDERDALE AREA
Just wanted to give an update on my case and probably answer someone's NHP Insurance questions also. My coordinator spoke to the agent and coordinator at the insurance company and they do not cover WLS at all.
They don't cover pills, surgery, any type of 'get well' program, nothing! ..........but hey! they are willing to cover my psyche treatments, my more than doubled doctor visits, my Zoloft medication, blood pressure pills, D&C surgery caused by my weight, my pain treatment and medication and eventually my heart attack and diabetes. I'd love to meet the bean counting moron at these insurance companies that decided WLS was too expensive! lol
I have an appointment @ Clevland Clinic coming next Tuesday and the follow up with the doctor on Thursady 6/28/07. I am still trying to get some answers with my Insurance I went to My HR Dept and found that Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Florida PPO won't cover it but it's based on what the doctor submits. I am still hopeful and in for the fight I am on here every night searching for answers. So maybe we will get some answers. Good Luck!
