Dr Paul Esposito in Lauderdale - Anyone use him?

Dr Paul Esposito in Lauderdale Lakes - I need to know if anyone has used him. I have surgery scheduled for July 10. The office says they are too busy to give me references. Please help - anyone.. I think he is ok (met him today) but I really would like to speak with others who have had him for a dr. I do not want to have to start this process over again - I need to have this surgery on the 10th of July.  Thanks

An office that is too busy to give you references??? Umm so they don't have WLS paitients that would be willing to speak to you? Does he have a support group where you could meet people that have had the surgery? I would be come leary at this point. BUT that is me. I talked to half a dozen of my docs patinets, I went to an informational seminar and a post op support meeting prior to even meeting him personally. These are things you want to check out. If they are too busy now---what will happen post-op and you need them? Just some thoughts.

That dont sound right to me. I live cose to you & have never heard of such a thing. Have you looked into Dr Wizman in Margate. He was not my surgeon As I went to  Mexico but is a good surgeon & a very nice man . Best of luck!!!

Thanks I heard he is a good dr; however, I would never have any surgery at the two hospitals he works out of. Thanks though for replying.

I had surgery with Dr. Exposito on April 5th 2007 and found him and his office to be very professional and helpful. I did meet with Dr Carrasquila and he informed us that he trained all the doctors in his office. My surgery went so smoothly I needed no pain medication after the surgery and on my first follow up visit. I asked Dr. Exposito if he really did the surgery. They also have an excellent support group that meets once a month. When you are in the hospital all the nurses that take care of you have had the surgey and they are very helpful. Everyone from his office came to visit me in the hospital and introduced themselves including the lady from the insurance office that got my surgery authorized. I am not sure who you spoke to but I am very happy with the care I have received so far from his office. They do have their own website that should have the references that you are looking for. I am not sure of the website but look on the University Hospital website and it will link you over. Good Luck on your surgery. One tip-always make a list of questions for the doctor for visits before and after your surgery. I always forget what I wanted to ask so I write it down. He is always willing to answer all my questions during my visits.

Hello Dr. Esposito performed a series of surgeries that I needed after my weight loss surgery.  He is a very good doctor as you can see by just meeting him for the first he is a people person, very compassionate to your needs.  If you are hurting and call the office he sees you right away and if you call he will return your calls himself.  It has been 8 yrs since my surgery and I am maintaining, but I go to him if I have any pain or anything that upsets me.  He has performed 5 different procedures for me the last one was 2 yrs. ago I had a hernia and he diagnosed my problem and had it repaired and I am find.  You are getting the best, I felt just like you did until I actually was blown away when I was not feeling well called the office on a Saturday and he Dr. Esposito returned my call and told me what to do.  So you will be in good hands just follow everything that he tells you to do and you will be OK.  Hope I have been of help to you.
