2 yr post op anniversary

Two years post op. Bmi stays at 21-22, 123 lbs. I still don't eat sugar, and I rarely eat bread an pasta. I have found the key to be changing eating lifestlyes
and to know I have to do that forever. I continue to go to a weight loss support group weekly, I weigh myself weekly and monitor my progress.
Continue to drink two achiev protein drinks a day, along with my vista vitamins. My labs have been great, energy, health great.
I still wear size 4. Exercise 3 days a week at Kung fu to build bone density and flexibility and to discipline me to exerecise.
Still don't like exercising, but it needs to continue to be part of my life. I have not had surgery and my arms look great and toned from exercise.
I have some belly and fanny flab, but I don't care. Keys to success: accountability, determination, not going back to old
eating habits, vitamins, and daily protein!

I don't get here too often, but I am here to support all of you. You have made an incredible and courageous

decision with this surgery. yes the journey will be hard, but things that are worthwhile will be hard won't they?

It takes time for our minds to catch up to our bodies and to understand that we are food addicts, and we need to find what

triggers us to eat food.

It was not easy for me to admit I was a food addict, but I am glad I could do this. I am so glad today

that I can be in control of food, and not food in control of me.

Nothing feels as good as thin feels. As conquering this monster of fat that has plaged my body for 45 years.

So, I cheer you on my friends, and I am here to ask questions of or whatever. My profile has lots of pre and

post op information that will help you with what to pack for hospital and food plans post op.

hugs to you all,

Tami
