You have plenty of time. Your liquid diet is to firm up your liver so its not so "fatty" and doesnt bleed when the doctor moves it out of the way. You want the high protein to help promote healing. Try and think of different flavors for your liquids. Fruits, Vegetable, sweet, sour, salty, etc.
You kick start the weight loss with the liquid diet.
Hang in there, I know its tough. I was on liquids for 6 weeks. I was only on liquids for 24 hrs before surgery. Then I had a complication and ended up having another surgery which meant a total of 6 weeks of clear and then soupy liquids. I thought I would go nuts,
but I LOST 35lbs in that time fram. Amazing

Thanks for the advise, it really helps clear up the confusion. I will take your advice. Today i will try wonton soup broth, and sugar freeliquids and the whey protein powder shakes. I did lose 10lbs in a matter of just 4 days. I can't believe it. I know it is all water weight, but my clothes are still a tad looser!!
