this is really embarassing but I need to know:
Try taking a pill call Devrom. You can get it here in the OH Store. Go to www.devrom.com and you can request samples. The smell has to do with the Malabsorption in the Intestines. I can't drink any type of Dairy even Soy gives me such bad Farts I've been known to almost kill the lucky recievers.
K how about filling in your OH profile. You never know who may read it and be Inspired rather than giving up.

Some of the body odor you are experiencing is from "ketosis." This is when your body is burning fat at its maximum. It happens to people that go on a high protein, low-no carb diet. Those that do "Atkins Diet" experience this. Most post-ops have this too.
I remember about 4 weeks out--I couldn't stand my body odor, my breath etc. It was horrid.
I have NO idea if I smelled to anyone else. If I did--they were very kind and didn't tell me!!

Congratulations, you are probably in ketosis. This is a good thing. It means you are burning fat! When Adkins Diet first came out in the 70's the book recommended buying keto sticks to check ones urine to determine your ketosis level. When this happened to me I switched from Dove soap to Dial and it really helped.

As others have mentioned it's probably ketosis - however, I will ask you this. Are you throwing up? Do you have an appetite? When You eat do you feel like a spoonful is too much? I asked because I had a severe stricture that cause food to build up in my throat cause a horrible odor to be emiited - gum, brushing mouthwash couldn't help until I finally went to the dr and they determined my pouch had closed up....
Just check with the dr since you're so newly out....
Congrats on crossing over! Good luck on your journey and Keep a journal - you'll appreciate it over time!!!!
