New Friends!Orland Event

I just wanted to take a moment to say howdy to all the new friends that I met at the Orlando Event. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and getting to start my vacation out on a positive note. After the event, Eric, Bo & I changed hotels over to the Clearwater area and I have been vacationing while they work hard to bring more amazing surgeons to OH. It always renews the spirit of my weight loss journey to attend these events. I am now almost four years out from surgery and I need ObesityHelp just as much today as I did in the beginning. I have realized that during different stages of the journey I have clung to different mentors and different boards to find what I needed for that stage. What an amazing thing to realize that everything I needed for my journey was right here on OH. I guess I did not realize this until this weekend while discussing it with friends, and it warmed my heart with gratitude to OH, Eric, OH staff and YOU for giving me the support tool that I needed to be successful. This site has followed me through finding a surgeon, nutrition, divorce, single life, marriage, travel, pregnancy, weight-gain, plastics, support group training and now to help me lose that last pounds that keep hanging on. Regardless of the phase, OH had a forum or board to help me, and on those boards I found mentors, friends and guidance, sometimes just from unknown posters with situations similar to mine that were brave enough to post their thoughts in the hope that it would help someone else. Today I am thankful for everything that I am and have and I know that I could not have said that four years ago. I enjoyed meeting you all and I hope to see more of you at events in the future!!! Cheryl, It was a great seminar. Bo is a charasmatic speaker and is a great asset to OH. I am glad you are taking time for yourselves. I really enjoyed the seminar and also look forward to many more. Thank you for all the hard work and courage to share your time and story with others. Thanks Debbie

Well Cheryl, it was nice to meet the Supporter of a Great Motivator too. I talked with Eric & Bo (after two attempts at which Bo couldn't hear me) that they were going to tour our South Tampa Bay today and call later. If your hanging around, my significant girlfriend Fatima is free and could take you out to the Shopping areas. I have some info for Bo about Family Lifestyle Fitness and the two hotels in Key West that Don Zinner (an OH Conference attendee) owns. Which we'll be planning a Scuba Meet & Greet at within this next 6 months possibly. I did also find a Local Dive shop who might be able to get you all wet this trip if your interested. Eric said he has a cold. Maybe we'll see you later. And if Eric needs a ride to the airport out of Tampa or Orlando. I'd be happy to take him. Mike

Michael, I just got this message, I have been lazing by the pool. Bo & Eric are still out and about, I have booked us on a dinner cruise at 6:30 on the Starlite Majesty so I hope they hurry! I think they have had a longer day out they they presumed. It is difficult to work around the doctors schedules. Well, better get showered and ready! Cheryl

You'll have a great time on that Dinner cruise as I went on it for the 50th last year and with todays beautiful weather the Sunset should e grand too. Many we'll come wave to you from the Sand Key State Park as ya'all drift out to the Gulf. Be sure to look over the bow to see the Dolphins playing along side of the ship. And if you have time check out the Clearwater Mote Marine Aquarium on Island Estates off the Memorial Causeway between downtown Clearwater & Clearwater Beach. Hope your enjoying Florida, Mike
