Pics from the event
I don't sell for BariatricEating, Becky! I certainly believe in them and I'm a customer, but what I do for them on a part-time basis, is to work with the Dieticians, Nutritionists, Program Coordinators and Surgeons to get them good information about the site, patient helps, patient samples, flyers and stuff like that. I don't actually sell a thing!
Jan it has been soo long! I didn't attend the conference for personal reasons. It is really hard for me to be around people that have had the same surgery as myself...there is usually comments about my weight so I just don't put myself in that position anymore. Maybe someday we can all get back together and have a meet up in Altamonte...I saw Amy B in Feburary but haven't heard from her since.
Tracey
That's fine Tracey, if you don't feel comfortable, but I would have loved to have seen you for YOU, and not to check out your weight!!! I know you've been through a bunch of stuff since the time you had surgery and if you were too heavy or too thin, I do realize that the surgery was on our stomachs and not on our heads, and we still can have food issues of one sort or another post-op.
It's good to hear from you in any event!! I have not heard from Amy, but I did meet someone at the Orlando event that said she met me in Altamonte a while back. I have to confess I didn't recognize her, though!
