I am sorry I didn't recognise you. I loved your table and products. I (and the friend I brought to the convention) plan to order some of them. She is hooked on the drinks you had. Says they are better then Starbucks.

Why didn't Bariatric Eating Sponsor and have their own Vendors Table with Samples as Others did. Their a Local State Representative and could've had a Free Table for the asking. And other Vendors though they couldn't attend personally still sent Products for giveaways which were scooped up immeadiately by the handfull rather than taking one so others could get a sample too. Nashua Nutrition sent over 100 bags and attendees actually took products out of bags leaving the empty bags on the table. And there was enough Acheiv at One per Attendee that Everyone could try it BUT many helped themselves to many bottles leaving none for others too. Sorry for the Rant but I was embarrassed by the Greed for FREE without thinking of other attendee OH Members and those who came in the afternoon just walking in without paying to be there.

I think you partially answered your own question, Michael. People helped themselves to the samples by the handful, and I saw people eating out of opened containers that were merely on display, not to mention taking more than one AchievOne that was supplied that day! No wonder someone walked off with my DaVinci syrup! Someone nearly scooped up the shaker bottle that was just on display as well! BariatricEating's presence there was only because I attended at Dr. Jawad's invitation, otherwise they would not have been represented at all. As you know, I was not planning to attend myself but since Dr. Jawad asked me to come along, I was happy to do that.

Jan, Sorry about her supplies, that makes for a bad taste in your month for the next one. I enjoyed seeing you again. Why let anyones opinion determine were you go. I would go and hold my head up high and dare them to say anything. Or better yet seek them out and start a conversation. Let them cause a scene not you. I just love doing that. Hey Jan, I just want to clarify something. If you saw me carring three bottles of achievone out of the sponsor area... I was getting the drinks (along with some other sponsor paperwork) for some people who couldn't make it on their own to the sponsor room. I don't drink anything with any kind of a coffee taste myself. I feel bad that anyone would think I was hording it. Take care, Pat

Pat, I wasn't the sample police at the event so I have no idea if you took any AchievOne or SIX! BWAHAHAHA!! To tell you the truth, it's pretty much like that at any event where there are samples! Dr. Jawad's table had chip clips from ORMC and envelope slitters (they slit open envelopes!) and while the room was empty the table was raided of all samples and my DaVinci syrups! I saw people helping themselves to the BariatricAdvantage samples when the table was unattended and someone took the toy ship from the cruise people!!! And there were indeed several folks who took more than one AchievOne! BUT, all that being said, I couldn't tell you one name of anyone who was guilty of that! BariatricEating just completed a sale on the AchievOne and while it's great to be able to buy it locally, what I like is saving the gas and being able to do one stop shopping. That's why I like working for them. They have the best of the best for bariatrics and all in one convenient place and no, I do not get an employee discount! Or commission either for that matter! HA!

Mike, Thank you for clairifing that the Achieve one came from low carb connection. We will order accordingly. It is a true shame when adults have to have someone to watch over their every move for fairness.

After trying the bottle of Aciev I got at the confrence, I stopped into the Lo Carb Connection yesterday to pick up some Aciev One and she has four flavors. She will give a discount if you buy more than one case (12 bottles). She was super nice and very helpful too. Amy

Amy I'm glad you found Lo Carb. Did you mention you heard of her at the OH Conference? Also I'll be starting our OH Support Group Meetings there on Monday, May 21st at 6:30 PM. I'm hoping you can make it & will spread the word. We're planning on meeting every third Monday of the month. Unless we grow or the wishes are for extra meetings. As we may also meet at a park like Glen Oaks on Court Street in Clearwater every First Monday Evening of the month also at 630 for Walking & Talking. Mike
