I GAINED 7 LBS ,10 MORE TO GO-
To all my freinds *****plied to my orig post(04apr) on how depressed I was because I was way below my goal at 13 months post op and I looked sickly, aneroxic.Well it seems that by grazing adding more carbs, and even eating things like a slice of pizza, bread, bagels w,peanut butter, etc. I was able to gain 7 lbs,up from 140 to 147.Its hard adding all that extra food and grazing all day,but it worked.I would like to gain 10 more or less and I will be so happy, when I was 155-157 everone said I looked wonderful,I felt wonderful, but dropping down to 140 was horrible.Once again thanks to all of you and your support alex
Alex this has happen to others too. Even Dr. Lee Grossbard (Zephryhills,FL.), *****ceived the Lap Banding. Got below his Goal weight and looked sickly but gained back to where everyone said he looked great and thus he felt grat again. Those computer models aren't always correct as a computer dies not have feelings. And we are our own judges. Good luck in the future as we're here for you. Are you coming to the OH Conference next Saturday, May 5th?

Way to go. When I got down to 130 I was skin and bones at 5'9, people made comments about my appearance. I have gained back 5 pounds in the last year, but I still go up and down. I am still skin and bones but I don't look sickly anymore...I graze, drink with meals and eat more carbs to keep the weight on, if I don't I drop fast back down to 130. Who would of thought it would be a chore to keep weight on....

I hate to say this, but I am so happy to read this post. I have been extremely worried. My Family Physician told me the other day I need to stop losing weight and the this morning my Chiropractor said he could see the bones in my back and I was getting too thin. He asked me when was it going to stop (the weight loss). I am 14 months post op and my goal weight was 139 pounds (set by my doctor) and I am 145 pounds and everyone says I look like skin and bones and sickly. I have upped my calorie intake trying to gain a little weight back, however, I still keep losing. Will it ever stop? All of my blood work is great, and I feel fine. I think one of the main things is I have NO muscle. Everyone keeps telling me to start weight training and build some muscle and I will look better/healthier. Any suggestions from anyone?
Thanks
