Up coming surgery...
I got my email from OH and was very excited to see it. I do appreciate the info in there cause it gives you insight to what other people have needed/experienced. My original date was set for May 8th, but an opportunity came to move it up to May 1st so I grabbed it!! Its less time to have where all the what if questions come up. I am happy with my decision to do this and am really looking forward to my new life!!
Good luck to the rest of you who also have May dates and all of you who are waiting!! I am looking forward to hearing more from local Floridians!!

Anne, congratulations! You must be SO excited! Dr. Gordon is my surgeon also, and I can tell you from experience, he is absolutely THE BEST! His staff is awesome too - Chris and Kelly are who I've had the most contact with, but everyone there from the receptionist to the billing coordinator is absolutely wonderful. I did lots of research before my surgery, and chose Dr. Gordon over four other surgeons in the Tampa Bay area. You are in very capable hands! Surgery is over with and i am home now. Got home about 15 minutes ago and am so happy to be here. Hospitals suck cause they keep waking you up ever few hours, at least here I should get to sleep through the night. Gas pains suck but those will be gone in a few days, i have very very little pain from the incisions, I came home with 2 small drainage tubes but they will be out monday or tuesday. I get to start the protein shakes tomorrow and then in a couple of weeks it's on the way to pureed foods. It is amazing how food is not so enticing any longer and I am not hungry. Off to do my pro stat now. THanks to all how sent support notes!!
