REVERSAL, ANYONE?...
Hello Lynn:
not sure what the term means so far as I can find it either refers to hair loss or being listless....not really sure...the medical dictionaries online refer to the soft woolly hair covering mammals....so I think it must be some kind of body or head hair loss. trying to help since you've waited 3 days.

i'm here, sorry it took me so long for an update.
i saw dr overcash the day after posting & he suggested i start taking a drug called megace - it's a med for aids/cancer patients undergoing chemo, used to increase their appetite - but it's got some nasty side effects, so i've filled it, but haven't taken any as of yet.
he thought i might have ulcers, or a stricture, or a possible blockage.
he scheduled an egd & labs. the next day i had pain in my abdomen & was admitted to the hospital where i stayed for 5 days. test after test. no stricure, no ulcers, no blocakge.
liver enzymes were 337 - much too high. white blood cell count very low. pancreatic enxymes were normal. they even looked for gallstones, but found nothing.
i have no idea what caused this attack, but it was very painful & i wouldn't wi**** on anyone.
dr o told me that if i continue to dehydrate (only takes me 2hrs w/out drinking), and fail @ gaining weight, he'll consider a revision. according to him, they don't like to use the word "reversal", as it implies that the surgery can be completely reversed - and it cannot be.
i see him again one wk after i start the megace, but i don't wanna take that toxic stuff!
wellmeaning friends & family members have suggested i try marijuana - medicinally, & i'm giving it some thought. anything at this point to help me put on some cushioning. my sz 0's are too loose & i look like the freaking crypt keeper.

THANK YOU for the update. I am so glad that Dr O will do a revision if things do not improve. My surgery date is June 6th with him and I have had so many health problems this year, I just can't wait to see if WLS will help me. BUT -- I do realize there are risks and I just have been praying for you and hoping that you will find an answer. I have been checking this post every day to see what has happened so THANKS FOR POSTING!!
HI Kas
So glad you were tested and everything seems to be ok. I understand how you feel, feeling ill and testing showing nothing......
I keep you in my prayers. May you soon have faith in the drug your Doctor prescribed and get some meat on your bones.
As far as the pot goes, hey who am I to judge. My husband wanted it when he was preparing for a live rtransplant and I poo poo'd it, now that he is gone Im sorry I didn't let him have some peace.
So whatever you need to feel better, do it for you and no one else. Good luck Kas
