Surgeon suggestions?

Hi, everyone. I'm from Louisiana, but I have a cousin in Florida who asked me to help her find a bariatric surgeon. She lives in Winter Haven and is looking for a surgeon in Central Florida. My cousin has Medicaid, but said it's some sort of cost-sharing program. I have no idea what that even means, so I can't provide any more details, but she would like a surgeon who participates in this program. TIA for any and all advice!

You need to find out if she is on one of the medicaid HMO's, and if she is which one she is on. That makes a big difference. Red

They do WLS at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Florida but I don't know the surgeon's name. I suppose you could call the hospital find out. Lakeland, Fl is very near to Winter Haven.
