New to the Group - Help!

Hi Everyone, my name is Ines and live in Miami. I am thinking of doing the Lap-Band surgery but am still not quite certain. I'm confused and nervous about the surgery and what to expect after the surgery. I'm doing the orientation class at the Cleveland Clinic on Thursday to try and find out if this is for me. Can anyone tell me what to expect in the long term?

Hi Ines, I don't know much about the lap band. I went to the orientation at the Cleveland Clinic and am impressed thusfar. I have an appointment on 4/24 with Dr. Rosenthal to discuss VSG. Good luck to you. Stacey

Be sure to ask surgeons what their "BMI cutoff" is for Lap-Band surgery. HTH, Kristen
