Made my decision Finally!!
Hi all,
Meet with Dr Jawad on Saturday and had a long seminar with him and his staff. I have finally decided that by-pass is the way for me. I also have decided that Dr Jawad will be the one who will perform it.
He had all the answers I needed to make an informed decision. He stayed to entire 3 1/2 hours and kept answering all the questions. Even is repeats. His staff also was very informative.

Now we are on to the next step. Appointment is set for 9 am Friday the 20th for pre-op info. Forms are already filled out.
I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Hubby is very supportive and my daughter offered to come to town and take care of my mother in law who lives with us. She cannot be left alone when I have surgery. I was going to wait until she was better but that does not seem to be happening so I cannot leave my life on hold.
Anyway, I will be off to talk more with Dr J on Friday.
Would you suggest that I connect my insurance before this appointment? All of you have been soooooo much help in my decision. Thank you all.

I am so happy to hear your info session was good! Just keep you head in the game and all the pre op stuff will be done before you know it! I would have to say about the question on insurance is based on you provider! I have Cigna HMO and I didn't let them know in advance so long as you have your PCP on board let Dr. J office do the work. I understand some ins co take issue with it!
