Newbie and Confrence questions

Hi! I recently joined this forum, but have been lurking around reading posts for a few months. I had my surgery on 12/6/06 with Dr. Jesses in Largo and am down 113 pounds so far. I had some complications after the surgery, but in all I am very excited about the weight loss and the new energy I have. I have been reading about the conference coming up and my husband and I have decided to come and check out. My question is, is this a real formal type event or more laid back? No Amy it's not a Formal Event but not totally laid back either but do dress comfortably. And do try to make it over for the Friday evening "Meet & Greet" I'll be talking with Dr.Jesse on Monday about coming to the Conference also if she's not too busy. As Monday she's returning to work coming off of her Maturnity Leave. Plus she's joining Dr.Rehnke down at the Palms of Pasadena Hospital and going into partnership with Dr.Rehnke & Dr.Grossbard in a OutPatient LapBand Facility in Tampa in the near future. But still continuing her office near the Sun Coast Hospital. Oh and welcome to the OH Florida Forum, Mike PS I'll be starting an OH Support Group at the LoCarb Connection at the Largo Mall in May 2007 also.

Thanks for the info Mike. We are coming to Orlando on Friday and planning on attending the "meet & Greet" too. I love Dr. Jesse, she is at the very top of my favorite people list :-). Amy PS I would definitely be interested in a suport group. I love that store :-)
