Info on DR. Requested
Hello again just thought I would ask if any of you on here know of Dr D. Web NE FL Surgeon's Group. Have any of you used this DR.? I know 5 people who are friends of mine who had him do their surgery and all have been so happy with him. But you can never have to much info on something like this. So if you have used his group or know someone who has, all info is appreciated.
Thanks
Judy
I checked out Dr Webb when I first started looking into the surgery...I have heard nothing but good things about him. He performed surgery unrelated to weight loss surgery on a friend of mine and the nurse there told her that he is THE BEST! I have heard no complaints about him what so ever. I was a little off put at the $2000.00 fee that you have to pay to go thru the Weight Loss Center. It was going to be hard for me to get that together and in looking around I was introduced to Dr Jawad in Ocala and I have my first appointment with their office tomorrow AM. He is the same as Dr Webb...I've heard nothing but kudos! Good luck!
Thanks Toni, Like you I have heard soooooo many good thing about him and his staff so I feel really secure in my choice of him. The amount is a lot, I had to pay $1,700 because my insurance will cover the other 300. It's tough to come up with a lot of money sometimes I know. I wish you well and hope to stay in touch with you as we begin our journey to better health!!

Judy,
Dr. Webb perform my Laproscopic RNY Gastric on November 15, 2006. My experience with Dr. Webb and the whole process was GREAT!!! I don't regret my choice in doctor's. I'm down 68 lbs and 5 dress sizes and I thought I would never lose 10 lbs. The initial appt. is free, call and make an appt. his staff will provide you alot of information.
hey Dreama, WOW you are doing GREAT Girl! Good for you!! Dr. Webb did 2 of my best friends one in Sept and one in Oct. of 06, both loved him and rave about him. So thats why I went there and I have almost everything completed and Lois called me today and said I should have the surgery by the end of the month!!!!!
I was just curious about what someone else thought of him. He really seems great to me and I feel really good about my choice in him.
Have you had any problems with your hair falling out or any other problems? My one friend is at about 14 or 15 weeks and she lost some hair but said it has stopped coming out now.
This may sound dumb, but should I take a night gown or PJ's to the hospital? I know you have to get up and walk alot.
I am starting to get nervous!!! But so excited to get this done and begin my journey!!!
Keep me posted on what to expect ok and how you are doing.

Judy - it's been about a month since I notice my hair coming out the good thing is it's not in bunches just strands here and there and the doctor advise it will stop as soon as my weight lose slows down. The best decision I made was to have the surgery. I did take a robe but to be honest they gave me the normal hospital clothes and that's what I kept on. (my husband wanted me to tell you that he likes the nightc clothes I'm wearing now, LOL) The only pain I had was getting out of bed the first time and the day after surgery put it was normal. I was able to come home and do light stuff around the house. I was back to work in 1 week. Let's keep in touch and let me know when your surgery. Feel free to contact me here or email with any questions.
