Hi Jamie, Hang in there. My father died two days before my WLS, and every year I have a tough time, too. I'll bet that your brother would have been amazed watcing your son, as well as his own, grow up. And he would have been your surgery champion. I am sending some prayers and good thoughts your way! Hang in there, hon. Kristen

Do not turn to food, your brother would be very proud of you for not eating. We all have the habit of that and we need to stop. It is always tough to lose and sister or brother. Mine was only 45 when she died and she should be here with me today. She was very heavy and did not take care of her diebietes. It will be 15 years this month. The 19th. I just remember her as she was and her happy times. Never forget just adjust. Love and prayers to you. Sandy W.

There is always a balance in society. Who knows, or why your brother had to die, I do not know. But I do know this, You are living and that is a miracle. You have a purpose.
