Hey guys...I have a question then a big favor.... My Dr submitted my information on Friday...how long did it take for you to get a response on approval or denial with UHC?? What was your outcome?? Also can you please post this on the main message board...my computer keeps screwing up and wont let me post anything there. Please, pretty please. Thanks All Dawn

Dawn, if I post this for you on the main message board, the replies will come back to me and not you. Sorry, I'd love to do it for you but I have no idea how to go about it. United Healthcare is one of the fastest insurance companies when you're waiting on approval. I have Aetna and was approved in 12 calendar days and that was extremely fast for that company. My sister has United Healthcare and she was approved in 3 calendar days. So, it shouldn't be long. the waiting is terrible and I'm all too familiar with that. But hang in there. Its worth the wait....I promise. La Wanda

Hi Dawn, Although they have up to 30 days to respond, UHC is usually pretty quick. HTH, Kristen

I had UHC and got approved in 14 days, however it depends on your job and the insurance carrier..hopefully you won't have to wait long.

I also have unitied healthcare. In the last three weeks we (my surgeons office) have faxed all of the med records, etc twice and we finally overnight mailed it on Monday. I called today and they state that they still don't have the stuff. How will I ever get approved it I can't even get the info to them. I am VERY frustrated with them right now. Every time I call it's a different person and different information. I was given at least three fax number, none of which were apparently right, which is why we just mailed the packet. Any suggestions??
