Any self pay bandsters out here?

I am now looking at my only option is self pay. I am finding the band varies alot from doctor to doctor. I have been quoted 13k to 22k....big difference. Has anyone else out here financed or self pay for around 15k? That is what I am looking at being able to afford. Thank you, Shannon

my sister n-law had her surgery lap-band at a facility in melbourne florida i think her total was 11-13,000 for everything- i cannot remember the dr. but i believe it has life something it its facility title .

Shannon, I am self pay,,,,,Just like buying a car, or mortgaging a home,,,it was worth it. Dr Jawad (in Ocala) is a wonderful, experienced doctor who does WLS exclusively,,,Center of Excellence. His stats speak volumes. My total was just under 15 K, whi*****ludes AN ENTIRE YEAR of office visits and fills. They always have time to see you if there is a problem. Hi im a self pay. I own my own home so im doing an equity loan thru the credit union. my lap band surgery in 19k in naples. I have 6k but have to get 13k. I got a 5 year loan for 5. somthing percent a year - payments will be appx $ 254 a month. dont know if u can go thru credit union but there rates are great. Hope this helps.
