Help! Anyone here with Orange County Goverenment?

Hi my name is Gina and have not been banded yet. I'm struggling with insurance and have been told by UHC I have no luck for an appeal. I have insurance with Orange County Goverenment and their policy says no bariatric weight loss surgury of any kind in so many words. Has anyone had to fight with them? Has anyone experienced dealing with them on this matter? I'm getting ready to appeal directly to them and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gina B

Hi Gina, If it is a complete exclusion, I don't think that you can appeal successfully. I know that Walter and Keley Lindstrom won't take exclusion cases if they don't think that they can win. Have you contacted them? http://www.obesitylaw.com HTH, Kristen

I worked for Orange County Gov for 11 years but I left in 2005.... I fought them about two years ago and won. Just get all the letters you need and send pictures of yourself....that might help. good luck.
