Hi Everyone, I had surgery on 2/16/07 and will like to know if anyone has any suggestions on clear liquids. I am wanting to have a variety of suggestions to pull me through the 2 weeks.

Yanselli, your profiles not filled out so I'm guessing you received the Lap-Banding? Is this correct? What liquids have you've been doing and/or tried? Have you've tried Wonton Soup, of course giving the Wonton to someone else? Or Egg Drop Soup? Or any of the Protein Shakes? Welcome aboard the Train on your Journey to Losersville, Mike

I heard you can take the packets of ramen noodles, throw away the noodles, but use the seasoning for broth. Some better flavors than chicken, vegetable, or beef broth! Of course sugar free jello and popsicles are also allowed. There are a lot of different flavors and variety!

Sugar Free jello, Sugar Free popsicles, egg drop soup and real watery creamed rice got me thru when I couldn't get in all the water I was expected to.

Hi yanselli and congratulation. I am new here as well. My surgery was on the 13th and I am wondering why you are on a clear liquid for so long? I was on clear liquids for 3 days and from day 3-week 4 I am on full liquids. Then onto soft foods. As for clear liquids: broths, sugar free jellos, water, crystal light, sugar free popsicles, gatorade, propel fitness water, decaffinated tea (no milk!), decaffinated coffee (no milk!), boost breeze and other clear protein drinks. I wish you luck on your journey!
