Psych Eval in Gainesville Fl

Can anyone tell me a psychologist in Gainesville Fl who takes Avmed and will do the clearance for WLS. I am down to my last step and have hit a roadblock all help and consideration is appreciated.

Wow!  I can't believe I found someone on here from Starke.  I live in Lawtey.  Small world, huh?  The only thing I could think is to call the North Florida Regional Hospital maybe and I know they have a lot of bariatric surgeons and I believe an obesity clinic.  I would call them and see if they may be able the tell you if they have any in mind.  Good luck!!!  I am trying to WLS done also.  I tried to be a co at uci but I just can't do the training with all this weight.  I had to quit the first week of school.  Too  many health problems from weight.  Another thing you may want to do is contact the job service at the vo-tech (Bradford) and see when the rep. for vocational rehabilitation is in and ask her if she can find you any info. on a psychologist.  She actually has scheduled me to see one in G'ville in Aug. but she only gave me his first name so maybe she can give you his name and number.   Best of luck to ya!!!
