Looking for an exercise partner, kind of...
I want to participate in a triathlon being held at disneyworld in May, but I don't think I am ready to do all three parts...I can enter as a team and have 2-3 people on the team to do the three parts of the race. Anyone in here interested in forming a team?
I am NOT 100% sure I will be able to be there, but I really really want to - and alot of it will depend on if i can get a team together. The race is 1/4 mile swim, 9 mile bike ride, and a 2 mile run/walk.....I'd be willing to do any of the three parts - maybe even 2 of the 3 if only one person is interested in joining me.

Oh Sarah! I would love nothing more than to form a team with you! Aren't you in Florida now?? We could be buckeye girls, doin' the "world". I wanted my daughter to join me, she is a strong swimmer, but she is afraid of the alligators (or crocs, I can never remember which is which), so she won't go with me. I was about convinced that I could do the whole thing myself - but I'm having a hard time justifying the money to TRY to do something I'm not even sure I can fini****'d be easier if I was sure I'd come home with a medal!! LOL!! On top of my flying there, I'll have to rent a room, and rent a bicycle ($200!!! for one of the sponsors - the upside is that they'll transport the bike to the race start, and you turn it back in right there at the race end - so no transportation issues with a bike - but sheesh! $200 for a bike I need for an hour or so???). On top of that, I'll have to eat too! On the upside, I happen to be an annual passholder, so I could visit a park without admission cost.
Are you living in FL now?? Perhaps you have a close friend or relative? Or, wait - didn't I see pics of you with a "Little Sister"?
Oh yes, please lets talk!! This has been a dream of mine for years - and I finally feel like I have a chance (I actually flew down in 2004 - just to watch! How pathetic is that?!?)
Thanks for responding! Anyone else, or if you know anyone - SPEAK UP! We'd all get a medal, and we could get matching OH tee-shirts or something! It could be so much fun - and for a great cause!! (our own self-esteem, and the breast cancer foundation)
It's my Big Brother/Big Sister little sister and she is actually moving to PA this month. 
But yes, I live in Miami. I actually travel to Orlando so much people think I have family there and I don't....lol. My PCP teases me about how much I go to Disney. I would love if it could be an OH team...that would be awesome cool. However, I do have a best friend in Medina, and we both turn 30 this year...her b-day is in May and we've been trying to figure out what we are going to do. But she has 2 kids so I'm not sure about her getting away...but I know several people from OH down here...I've been to several OH events...so let me get on the horn...lol. Oh and my mother is a breast cancer survivor...I someday want to do the 3-day walk.
