Looking for S. Florida Surgeon

I am looking for a Surgeon in the South Florida area that has experience with Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. Or if there is anyone I shouldn't contact. Thanks in advance.

Dr Gomez performed my gastric bypass 15 months ago. The man is my hero! He's a wonderful surgeon and is now, along with his partner Dr Jacobs, doing a lot of gastric sleeve operations. I just went to our monthly post op support group meeting last week, and more and more people are having the sleeve there at Mercy and the support group meetings are now a nice mix of bands, bypasses and sleeves. Dr. Fleitas, also at Mercy, also does the sleeve. The bariatric coordinator there at Mercy is Melissa and her direct number is 305-285-2609. If I can help you in any way please let me know. US Bariataric in Fort Lauderdale is great (Drs. Marema and Perez) but I'm not sure if they do the "sleeve". Also, I know So. Miami Hospital has a great bariatic center. luvitsunnyv*-)

I go to the group session in South Miami Hospital which are really good to go too. I'm doing all the required process for the Gastric Bypass Surgery and Dr. Rabaza is really good. My family have gone to him and he is well known in SMH. You might want to try him. There is also Dr. Gonzalez and Dr. Verdeja. They are in the same team.
